Terms & Conditions

PAYMENTS AND FEES

1.1 in order for your childs place to be kept in our classes you must set up monthly subscription to come off on the 1st of the month

1.2 a late fee of £10 will be added if fees are not up to date by the second attempt (4th of the month)

1.3 there are no other ways to pay class fees

1.4 boom dance studio reserve the right to refuse entry to class if subscription is not set up

1.5 there is annual registration fee of £5 per person to cover the setting up of each pupil on our systems, admin, insurances etc

1.6 fees are non-refundable

1.7 one month cancellation period required for cancelling subscriptions and one full months payment

CLOTHING

2.1 boom dance studio dancewear can be ordered directly from us

2.2 no jewellry or accessories to be worn for safety reasons

2.3 hair should be tied back in a pony tail or bun for dance classes

2.4 any pupil taking part in our performances will be required to hire/purchase costumes, tickets etc

CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES

3.1 boom dance studio aim to provide the best training to our students. We will implement fun and discipline to do this. If we feel that any student is being disruptive on a regular basis we will issue a verbal warning,if this continues we will then speak to parents about the matter

3.2 any pupil found to be using a mobile phone during class will have the phone confiscated and returned at the end of class. Mobile phones are not permitted unless being used for learning purposes

3.3 we advise that your child does not bring any valuables with them, boom dance studio does not accept any liability for any loss or damage to belongings, any belongings should have childs full name clearly marked on them

3.4 no child will be allowed to leave the building without a parent or guardian (unless otherwise arranged) your childs safety is paramount to us

3.5 boom dance studio cannot be held responsible for any injuries incurred during classes. Teachers will ensure kids are learning and progressing in a safe manner

3.6 if you are going to be late for pick up you must contact the studio to inform us

DISCIPLINE

4.1 unruly, disruptive behavior will not be tolerated in class. We have a strict anti-bullying policy in place and expect our pupils to adhere to this at all times

4.2 we believe in teaching boundaries and setting a good example in line with our positive ethos to build our students confidence

4.3 our staff will not tolerate abusive or disruptive behavior from students or parents, we will treat everyone with respect and expect the same in return

4.4 if a child/parent displays consistent unruly or aggressive behavior this could result in the child being expelled from class

GENERAL

5.1 any medical conditions should be disclosed upon registration, and the responsibility falls on you, the parent/guardian, to update us when necessary thereafter. It is imperative that we are fully aware of any health implications at all times for your childs safety and your own peace of mind

5.2 boom dance studio communication is made via text/email and social media.Please ensure you follow our social media platforms for recent updates and continue to check spam/junk folders. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to keep up to date with all relevant information regarding your child

5.3 from time to time it will be essential for physical contact to take place between teacher and student/peers. We encourage safe practice at all times and support our students in doing so

5.4 in the event of a session being cancelled due to circumstances outwith our control ie adverse weather fees will be non refundable or transferable

5.5 all events are a choice, therefore show participation is not compulsory

SAFETY

6.1 we have a closed door policy in our studio, no unauthorised persons are allowed inside the building with our front door being locked at all times.

6.2 parents/guardians are required to wait outside until students are dismissed to them at the end of classes.
